As growers and makers of 100% Hawai’i grown chocolate, we believe we’ve got something very special here and we’d like to share it with you. Our 1,000-acre farm is located 10 minutes above Downtown Hilo. E hele mai! E komo mai! You are welcome here! We are proud to say we are taking every precaution to ensure all of our safety. Masks are optional to enter the Gift Shop and to take a tour. Masks are available for guests upon request and of course, we’ve got lots of sanitizer. We want everyone to feel safe here while still having a good time!

Welcome to the world of kokoleka, the Hawaiian word for chocolate (and therefore, our favorite Hawaiian word). We are proud to be a completely vertically integrated cacao farm. Why should you care? We have full control of growing and crafting ethically produced, environmentally responsible, small batch chocolate with a distinctively Hawaiian terroir.

We offer a fun Tree to Chocolate tour where you'll meander through our cacao orchards, pick a fresh pod from the trees, and learn the full story of how cacao becomes chocolate. While we rebuild our production facility after a fire in May 2026, the chocolate making portion is shared through a video presentation and a guided tasting of rotating farm treats, from chocolates and fudge to chocolate infused honey and cacao nibs.
Tours run 6 days a week, 6 times a day, and last about an hour. We recommend booking online or calling ahead, as availability fills quickly. Tours include multiple parties, so other guests may join you and your group. If you'd prefer a Private Tour Experience, give us a call to request it.
